What to expect
Via delle Memorie - A Journey Beneath Naples

Get ready for an extraordinary journey into the Neapolitan underground with the "Via delle Memorie" (Path of Memories) tour. This exciting and invaluable experience will allow you to admire what has been built in the depths of the city over the last 500 years, revealing a hidden heritage of engineering and history.
An adventure that will lead you to the beating heart of a surprising "underground" Naples.
A Historic Beginning and an Underground Museum
Your exploration will begin with a visit to the magnificent octagonal courtyard and the grand staircase of Palazzo Serra di Cassano, an architectural gem. After a short descent, you'll reach the spaces once occupied by the Palace's carpentry workshop, now managed by Interno A14. Here, a small but significant war museum has been set up with artifacts found during three years of excavations, offering a poignant glimpse into a recent past.
From Tuff Quarries to the Ancient Aqueduct

The journey continues further into the underground. You'll first reach the imposing quarries from which the tuff for the Palace's construction was extracted, a testament to the constructive ingenuity of the era. Subsequently, you'll venture into the ancient aqueduct below, where you'll be fascinated by the sight of a magnificent cistern still full of water, a true spectacle of Bourbon hydraulic engineering.
Connection with the Bourbon Tunnel and the Exit

The visit continues through a labyrinth of tunnels and cisterns, connecting you with the wider network of the Bourbon Tunnel. Every step in these environments will narrate stories of urban stratification and resilience.
The tour will conclude with an easy exit inside the Morelli Car Park, leaving you with the indelible memory of a unique and profound exploration.
